There are various verses in Proverbs that refer to kind words.
Proverbs 15:4 - A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.
Proverbs 16:24 - Pleasant words are like honeycomb; sweet to the soul and marrow to the bones.
Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
The general gist is kindness with one's words. I did not include the whole verse for Proverbs 15:4, as the remainder of that verse was not very kind.
But I have used the verses of Proverbs to inspire more words of kindness, by translating the majority of verses of Proverbs into kind words of affirmations.
It is easier to learn when one learns in peace and not fear of something. Proverbs as Affirmations provides that scenario. The highlighted text links below the picture will take you to Amazon.
There is a journal version (8-1/2 by 11 inches, pictured on the right), which includes lines to write the affirmations for added reinforcement, or the portable smaller version (6 by 9 inches, pictured on the left), without lines, which is easier to carry.
Much blessings to you on your journey.

Welcome to my blog about Proverbs as Affirmations. I was raised as a Christian and we were taught that using vein repetitions were not the way to go. If you are wanting some help in overcoming old beliefs that may not really be to your benefit, then read on:
